Perfomance and installation  with

Alberta Whittle

Right of Admission

In a series of performative actions the artists Farieda Nazier and Alberta Whittle contest the visible and invisible boundaries a range of urban settings. Using the physicality of the body and its appearance as markers for access, this performance functions as an intervention intended to challenge the “accepted narrative, which insists on an economic and social hierarchy of aspiration.”
